Dog Park Meets Sports Bar, Pups Pub Opening in Orlando

By September 26, 2021 September 27th, 2021 Dogs, News

Pups Pub is a combination dog park and sports bar located in Tampa, Florida. The bar is a fully air-conditioned, fully turfed indoor dog park where dogs can be off-leash and their human companions can drink and watch sports

Pups Pub is now looking to open a second location, this time in Orlando.

When Will Pups Pub Orlando Open?

No official opening date has been announced.

Pups Pub has filed the paperwork with the City of Orlando to get permission for on-site alcohol consumption at the chosen location of 317 N. Orange Avenue, across from St. James Catholic Church. There’s a meeting scheduled for October 19 of 2021 with the Municipal Planning Board, so as of yet no opening date has been scheduled.

What Will Pups Pub Offer?

Dogs at dog park

The Pups Pub in Tampa is an air-conditioned facility that offers a turfed indoor play area for the dogs, a bar, wall-mounted TV screens, and a projector screen so humans can watch sports and play video games. The location in Orlando will likely offer the same amenities. The bar can serve drinks but due to the presence of dogs on-site, they can’t prepare food. However, like the Tampa location, the Orlando site will most likely feature food from nearby food trucks instead.

What Requirements Must Dogs Meet?

In order to keep Pups Pub safe for all dogs, every dog must be up-to-date on vaccinations. Pet owners are required to either bring the vaccination paperwork in with them or send it ahead of time before they visit. Additionally, any dog that is over a year old must be either spayed or neutered.
