What You Need to Know About Neutering or Spaying Your Pet

Not getting your pet ‘fixed’ will be more costly in the long-run due to increased risk of health problems.

Intact males are more likely to develop behavioral problems.

Unspayed cats and dogs are at risk of developing pyometra, a potentially fatal infection of the uterus.

Cats can become pregnant at as young as four months old and dogs at five months.

How the procedures work

The Spaying & Neutering Procedures

We aim to make the process as simple for owners and painless for pets as possible. Drop off the day of surgery is between 8:30 and 9:00am and pets will be released for pickup by 5pm the same day. During the procedure, our trained technicians will administer anesthesia and monitor vitals. Dr. Quasim will send your pet home with pain medication, antibiotics and an e-collar.
